We booked our stay during Starwood's Cyber Monday sale and were able to nab each standard room for about $214 per night, including taxes. There's no shortage of chandeliers in the lobby. The grand opening for the newly minted Luxury Collection property took place in July, and everything about the property was classy and modern. Anthony Hotel earned a place among Starwood's most unique portfolio of hotels. The building's history is on display via throwback decor and hardcover books placed in every guestroom, and from the building itself to the furniture it's clear why the St. In fact, it was the first property in the world to be fully air-conditioned, and LBJ famously honeymooned here. The property itself is hardly new, though. Anthony Hotel only recently came into the Starwood fold.
